We attended the recently held Austrian–Croatian Economic Forum in Vienna, where we had the opportunity to take part in important discussions focused on strengthening business relations between Austria and Croatia.
Economic Forum in Vienna 2023
The forum, organized in cooperation between the Austrian and Croatian Chambers of Commerce, gathered more than 150 participants, including representatives from 40 Croatian companies operating in the ICT, construction, tourism, and food and processing industries. Through constructive discussions, particular emphasis was placed on cooperation opportunities in areas that directly impact our business environment.
Special attention was given to infrastructure, energy, digitalization, and the dual education system — key drivers of small and medium-sized enterprise development. The strategic importance of the Port of Rijeka and the nearby LNG terminal was also highlighted, opening new perspectives for stronger connectivity between the Mediterranean region and Central Europe.

As representatives of the Croatian IT sector, we recognize the importance of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the context of global challenges. Participating in the forum provided us with an excellent opportunity to establish B2B connections and explore potential partnerships within an ambitious and forward-looking business environment.
We are witnessing the continued growth and importance of the ICT sector, and we strongly believe that further steps toward collaboration will lead to tangible results and innovative solutions. We remain committed to strengthening cooperation with partners in Austria, confident that initiatives like this will stimulate economic growth and create new opportunities in the dynamic world of information technology.
